Usage Instruction for Rubber-Repair Heater
This product is applied for heating during the repair of rubber air bags. It is driven by 220V, 50Hz alternating current, and its power is 3000kW. Usage method: this machine is placed at the repair place, and is firmed by a heavy load or a jack (The heating plate should be padded by a sleeper. If the bottom side is uneven, a sand bag can be placed under the object to be repaired.) The line between the heating plate and the control casing is connected, and the power supply is connected (There should be a line to connect the heating plate and the earth). Just push the green button to start the machine. If the heating need to be stopped, push the red button. Time adjustment: The time of heating can be adjusted. Normally time is 40 to 50 minutes, and time can be adjusted depending on the ambient temperature. On the time controller, the first two buttons are minute-adjustors, and the last two buttons are second-adjustors. The longest available time on the controller is 99 minutes and 99 seconds. During the repair work, time is counted when the heating plate reaches the set temperature. The heating is stopped when the time reaches the set time. Temperature adjustment: the temperature of heating plate can be adjusted. Normally it’s 130℃ to 140℃. (After the heating is stopped, the temperature will have an additional increase due to the thermal inertia.) There are two buttons, one three-position switch. When the switch is set at up position, the digit on the screen is the high temperature to be adjusted. When the switch is set at down position, the digit is the low temperature to be adjusted. The digit can be adjusted by turning the rotary knob. It is normally suitable when the gap between the high and low temperature is 10℃. High temperature should be set larger than low temperature, otherwise it will not properly work. When the switch is set at the middle position, the digit is the temperature of the heating plate. If the digit is 1, it means the temperature sensor is broken and should be replaced. Working process: When the temperature reaches the set high temperature, the heating is stopped and the heat is preserved. When it is lower than the set low temperature, the heating is started again. The cycle process is repeated until the pre-set time is over, and a working period is finished. Attention: During the work, the aviation connector between the heating plate and control casing is a place liable to be broken. Special attention should be paid to that the heating plate is heavy, and it should be gently moved and placed to keep personal safety.
